Reiki Healing
Usui Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
The word “Reiki’ comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki is a type of energy healing.
Energy healing targets the energy fields around the body.
Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness
Karuna Ki Reiki, Karuna meaning ’compassionate action’ in Sanskrit and Ki meaning ‘energy’
A more powerful, deeper energy healing that doesn’t replace Usui Reiki but compliments it, taking it to another, higher vibrational level of healing from the heart.

Forms of Reiki
Reiki Hands-On
During the treatment the client will lie on a massage table, fully clothed. The practitioner will gently place their hands on the client in various hand positions which generates the flow of healing energy where needed for the highest good of the client. You may feel hot or cold have visions and feel the energy flow with tingling sensations. The effects can be felt emotionally and physically.
Distance Reiki
The distance symbol is used to cross any distance in time or space. It allows practitioners to clear blockages from someone's past, as well as perform reiki on someone who is not physically present. Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole. Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient.
Crystal Reiki
Crystal Reiki may be defined as the use of crystals in combination with the channeling of reiki (healing energies) to stimulate the self-healing mechanisms of the mind, body and spirit. It is not necessary to use crystals in order to give an effective reiki treatment but crystals can enhance the energy along with reiki energy
Chakra Balancing
This involves using a pendulum to assess the chakras and determine where there may be an energy blockage. I will then work on the chakras individually to remove any energy blockages.
Animal Reiki
Animal reiki is the application of human reiki skills to animals. If your pet is feeling uncomfortable or has health issues then you should always visit their veterinary clinic first. Animal reiki healing whether distant or hands-on is an alternative path that can help your pet feel better.
