Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.  The word “Reiki’ comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki is a type of energy healing.

Energy healing targets the energy fields around the body.  Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness

Karuna Ki Reiki, Karuna meaning ’compassionate action’ in Sanskrit and Ki meaning ‘energy’.  A more powerful, deeper energy healing that doesn’t replace Usui Reiki but compliments it, taking it to another, higher vibrational level of healing from the heart.

Lemurian and Atlantian Reiki is a unique combination of ancient energies from the lost continents of divine wisdom. Reiki  is a non intrusive therapy with powerful  effects. Reiki is used by many  people for many reasons from relaxing, strengthening their well-being, reducing anxiety, stress and fatigue, support and recovery after an injury or illness and to reduce pain. It can clear and balance the chakras, body mind and soul.  It is now used in  many hospitals alongside conventional medicine.  I am fully qualified and certified in  Usui ,  Karuna Ki and  Lemurian & Atlantian  Reiki at Master Practitioner level.

The distance symbol is used to cross any distance in time or space. It allows practitioners to clear blockages from someone's past, as well as perform reiki on someone who is not physically present. Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole. Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient.

Reiki can help you relax during pregnancy when your hormones are all over the place and your emotions are high.

It’s a great preparation for the birth too as it calms and reduces anxiety.

I have experience with this at all stages of pregnancy and during labour and find that Distance Sessions during pregnancy work best because you can lie or sit in whatever position feels most comfortable for you and relax while I channel the energy to you.

If you are trying to get pregnant then hands-on is best so that we can concentrate on the sacral chakra with crystals to maximise the energy flow in that area in order to be in good health for conception. 

Reiki is also good post-natal when you are recovering from the birth and your hormones are trying to get back to normal as this can also make you emotional and for some cause them to feel the ‘baby blues’ and this is where Reiki can help balance the body, mind and spirit.

Animal reiki is the application of human reiki skills to animals. If your pet is feeling uncomfortable or has health issues then you should always visit their veterinary clinic first. Animal reiki healing whether distant or hands-on is an alternative path that can help your pet feel better.
